Dhirendra Chandra Chakraborty
Soarikandapara Action

Born 1903, Mymensingh, Bangladesh, s/o Late Gauri Chandra Chakraborty. A member of Anusheelan Samity in the age of 18. Arrested in January 1932 and convicted for 7 years by a special magistrate in Netrakona. Sent to Cellular Jail in December 1932. Released after servicing full term.

Haribal Chakraborty
Kamalpur Action

Born 1916 at Ushti, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. A member of Jugantar Party at the age of 15. Arrested and convicted for 7 years by a special tribunal in connection with Kamalpur action. Was in Cellular Jail for four years and about two years in mainland jails.

Hemendra Nath Chakraborty
Atharabari Mail Action Bhadraghat, Pabna.

Bangladesh,s/o Late Herambanath Chakraborty. Intermediate Arts. Belonged to Anusheelan Samity. Remained underground for about six years. Arrested in connection with Atharabari Mail Action. Deported to the Andamans. One of the hunger strikers of the first hunger strike in the Cellular jail, May 1933-45 days. Total jail period about 8 years.

Hiramohan Chatterjee
Zilla Schhol Action Case

Born1914, Domsar, Faridpur, Bangladesh, s/o Late Raimohan Chatterjee. Belonged to Anusheelan Samity. Served prison term during the civil disobedience movement in 1930. Arrested in May 1931, in connection with Zilla School Action Case. Convicted to prison term of 7 years in August 1931. Deported to the Andamans in December 1932. Took part in the first hunger strike in Cellular Jail in May 1933 for 45 days. Repatriated in July 1937. Total jail period about 8 years and remained under restrictive order for about 2 years.

Jitendranath Chakraborty
Interprovincial Cospiracy Case

Born 1912 in Katarapara, Tiperrah, Bangladesh, s/o Late Anathbandhu Chakraborty. He was also a member of Anusheelan Samity and resigned from Govt. service. Took part in Salt Satyagraha of 1930. Arrested in 1932 in connection with Interprovincial conspiracy case. Deported to the Andamans. Took part in second hunger strike in Cellular Jail in 1937, July for 37 days. Repatriated in January 1938. Took part in another hunger strike in 1939 for 36 days. After release detained under D.I.R. released in1946. Total jail period more than thirteen years.

Kalachand Chakraborty
Interprovincial Conspiracy and Faridpur Bomb Case

Born 1909,Solok, Barisal, Bangladesh, s/o Late Haricharan Chakraborty. Belonged to Anusheelan Samity. Arrested in connection with Interprovincial Conspiracy case in 1933. Subsequently sent up for trial in Faridpur bomb case. Sentenced to 10 years prison term. Deported to Andamans. Participated in the second hunger strike in Cellular Jail-Andamans in July 1937 for 37 days. After release was arrested in 1940 and was externad from the greater Calcutta industrial belt. Escaped from police custody while they were escorting him to Barisal. Remained underground till 1949.

Keshav Lal Chatterjee
Arms Act Barisal, Bangladesh.

Arrested in connection with an armed action. Sent up for trial and was sentenced to a prison term of five years in 20.05.1932. Deported to the Andamans. Took part in the hunger strike of 1933, May for 45 days. Total jail period more than 5 years.

Krishna Pada Chakraborty Tripura
Agartola Action

Born 1903, Dacca, Bangladesh,s/o Late RajkumarChakraborty Merchant. At the age of 19 joined Anusheelan Samity. Arrested in 1930 under B.C.L.A and was confinedin Buxa Fort. Doars near Coochbehar town. Was then a fourth year student of Mitford Medical School- Dacca. Escaped from Buxa detention camp on 14.02.1932. Arrested at Agartola in connection with Tripur-Agartola Action and convicted to 9 years 6 months R.I. Deported to Cellular Jail in January 1935. Was also connected with Taltola Postal Action , Dacca. Joined the second hunger strike in Cellular jail in 1937 for 37 days. Repatriated in 1938 January. Released in 1939 from Dum Dum Central Jail. Total jail period about ten years.

Shri Madan Roy Chowdhury
Faridpur Action Case

S/O Satchat Kumar Roy Choudhary. Residence Dengda, Hoshiarhat, Faridpur, Bangladesh. Sentenced on 11.7.1932 to 6 years imprisonment. Deported to cellular jail in 1933. Repatriated in 1938 .
