Aurobindo Dey
Bathua Action and Conspiracy Case

Born 19.06.1916 at Roshangiri, Fatikchari, Chittagong, Bangladesh,s/o of Late Shreemantha Kumar Dey. Belonged to Anusheelan Samity. Arrested in February 1934. Sentenced to long prison terms and deported to the Andamans. Took part in the second hunger strike. Total period more that 5 years.

Biraj Deb
Kalikacha Shooting Action And Itakhola Mail action in Sylhet, Assam

Born May 1915, Komilla, Bangladesh, s/o Late Ishwar Chandra Dey. Joined Shree Sangha Group. Arrested on 13th March 1933. sentenced to transportation for life for 20 and 25 years respectively. Prison term to run concurrently. Deported to the Andamans. Took part in second hunger strike and also the Alipore Jail hunger strike in 1939 July for 36 days. Repatriated in January 1938 and released in August 1946.Total jail period 14 years.

Chintaharan Das
Manicktalla Arms-Find Conspiracy Case

S/o Late Dinabandhu Das, born in 1900 at Manakhan, Faridpur, Bangladesh. Member of Anusheelan at age 18. Arrested and convicted in 1935 for 5 years and deported to Andamans. Three years in Cellular jail and about one year in mainland jails.

Chunilal Deb
Medda Action Born 17th November 1906 at Brahmanberia , Bangladesh

s/o Late Bhagan Chandra Deb . Participated in civil disobedience movement in 1930 and 31 and arrested in connection with Medda Action in 1932 and sentenced to 7 years R.I. on 7 th March 1933 deported to Andamans. Participated in second hunger strike. Repatriated in 1937 and released in the fall of 1939. Total jail period 7 years.

Dhirendra Chandra Das
Sealdah Action

Born 1910 in Dum Dum Mymensingh, Bangladesh, s/o Late Jogendra Kishore Das. Belonged to Yugantar Party. Arrested in Sealdah Action but released on appeal to high court. Rearrested and sentenced to 7 years imprisonment under Arms Act. Escaped from Berhampur Jail, rearrested and deported to Andamans. Took part in second hunger strike. Total jail period more tahan 6 years.

Gourishankar Dubey
Moti-Bankeypur and Muzaffarpur Arms Find Case

S/o Gaiana Dubey, residence Tekulia Govingunj, Champaran,Bihar. Sentenced on 24th September 1932 at aged 24 to seven years imprisonment. Deported to Andamans. Repatriated on 28.07.1937.on medical grounds.

Harindra Nath Das ( Mandal)
Dinajpur Action Case

S/o Harish Chandra Das, born 1911. Belonged to Yugantar Party. Married before arrest. Arrested on 12th February 1935. Sentenced to 7 years imprisonment. Deported to Andamans. Took part in second hunger strike. Total jail period 6 years. Died 04.03.1982.

Haripada Dey
Inter provincial Conspiracy Case

Born 24.10.1905 at Bhola, Barisal, Bangladesh , s/o Late Rajendra Kishore Dey. Was a Engineering diploma holder. Was an expert in making 'mills' type bomb, bomb thower and small arms ammunition. Arrested in May 1933, escaped from Alipore Central jail in July 1934. Arrested and sentenced to 2 years prison term for escaping from jail. Got seven years prison term in the Inter provincial case and another one year for violating jail discipline in Midnapore Central jail. Deported to Andamans. Took part in second hunger strike. Repatriated in 1938, January. Took part in another hunger strike in 1939, July 36 days. Released in 1944 but detained on the spot under D.I.R. Finally released in 1946. Total jail period twelve years.

Jamini Kumar Dey
Mymensingh Action Case

S/o Late Kailash Chandra Dey. Born in 1897 at Patuair, Mymensingh now in Bangladesh. A member of Anusheelan Samity at the age of 19. Absconding period of about 2 years. Arrested in 1932and convicted to 8 years R.I.Deported to Andamans.Participated in second hunger strike.
