Rangpur Action Case

S/o Baroda Gobinda Gupta, Gayabunder, Rangpur, Bangladesh. Sentenced on Rangpur Action case for 10 years prison term on 8th January 1934. Deported to Cellular jail in the year 1935. Repatriated during 1937-38.

Kumudini Ghosh
Dinajpur Action Conspiracy Case

S/o Rajnikantha Ghosh, Dinajpur, West Bengal. Sentenced for 10 years imprisonment on 19th February 1935 for Dinajpur Action Conspiracy Case. Deported to Cellular Jail in 1935. Repatriated in 1937-38.

Kundan Lal Gupta
Lahore Conspiracy Case

Went underground after the commission of Train Action in between Kakori Station,and Alamnagar within 40 miles of Lucknow on 09.08.1925. Arrested in connection wih Lahore Cpnspiracy Case 1929-30. Sentenced to transportation to life. Deported to the Andamans. Participated in two hunger strikes. Repatriated in 1937.

Mani Ganguly
Damudya Mail Action

S/o Late Chinta Haran Ganguly , born 14.03.1913, samantasar, Faridpur now in Bangladesh. A member of Jugantar Party at the age of 13. Arrested in May 1932 in connection with damudya Mail Action Case in 05.05.1932 and convicted for 5 years prison term. Deported to Andamans. Took part in first hunger strike.

Nalini Ranjan Sen Gupta
Chittagong Arms Action Case

Born 07.11.1915, Chittagong, Bangladesh,S/o Late Bireshwar Sengupta . joined Revolutionary Party in Chittangong at the age of 15. Arrested in June 1933 at Calcutta. Sentenced to 5 years R.I. deported to the Cellular Jail Andamans. Participoated in the second hunger strike . Repatriated and rekeased in 1938.

Nandlal Das Gupta
Barisal Action Case

Born 04.05.1915, Beldakhan, Jhalkathi, Barisal, Bangladesh. S/o Late Surendranath Das Gupta- Ayurvedic physician. Joined the Yugantar Party at the age 14. Directly connected in two cases of Barisal District. Arrested in June 1934 with revolver and cartridges. Sentenced 5 years prison term. Deported to Andamans. Participated in the second hunger strike. Interned in 1940. Got a conviction for 6 months for violating internment order. Total jail period 6 years.

Narendra Chandra Ghosh
Dinajpur Action Case

Born 14th April 1911, Dinajpur , Bangladesh, s/o Late Durgadas Ghosh. Belonged to Yugantar Party. Remained underground for about 4 years before arrested in June 1935 for two actions.Sentenced to 15 years prison term. Deported to Andamans.participated in second hunger strike in Cellular jail.repatriated in January 1938. Released in August 1946.

Parimal Ghosh
Telirbag Action

Born 24.06.1916, Munshigunj, Dacca,Bangladesh ,s/o Late Hemendra Kishore Ghosh , Medical practitioner. Joined Yugantar Party (Jibanlal Chatterjee group) at the age 15. was a college student.Arrested in December 1931 in connection with Telirbag Action. Sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. Deported to Cellular jail. Participated in the first hunger strike. Repatriated and released but detained in a camp. Afterwards from the camp was interned in home.

Paresh Guha
Inter Provincial Conspiracy Case

Born 1910 February , Kukutia, Dacca, Bangladesh s/o Late Suresh Chandra Guha. Joined Anusheelan Samity in his early teens. Intermediate Science Rangpur College. Arrested, escaped and the rearrested in 1932. Sentenced for Interprovincial Conspiracy Case a prison term of 7 years. Deported to Andamans. Took part in second hunger strike. Repatriated in 1938, January. Released in April 1943 but detained immediately under D.I.R. within the jail office. Finally released in January 1946. Total jail period more than fifteen years.
