Anant Singh s/o Late Golap Singh. Joined Masterda's Party in 1918. participated in Assam Railway Action in 1923. Arrested under ordinance in 1924 and 1926. One of the Chief leaders of the Armoury Raid. He voluntarily surrendered. Joined the second hunger strike in Cellular Jail and another one in Alipore jail. Repatriated January 1938. Released 31st August 1946. Total jail period 20 years. |

Bhan Singh Born at Suner, Ludhiyana, Punjab,s/o Saran Singh. Sentenced to life imprisonment on 13.09 1915. Deported to Andamans. He was beaten to death by prison staff in a mad fury and lust for revenge for having dared to attempt the overthrow of the British Rule. |

Hazra Singh s/o Late Raja singh. Arrested in 1931and lodged in Lahore Fort. Escaped from there and was again arrested in Ootacamund, Tamilnadu. Ooty Bank Action Case. He was sentenced to 10 years R.I. He escaped from custody but was rearrested and deported to Cellular jail,Andamans. After release, while working in Jamshedpur on a picket line at at strike a factory hired lorry of the management ran him over and crushed him to death. As he refused to let the lorry pass through the gate. The lorry was transporting strike breakers. Participated in the second hunger strike in Andamns. |

Late Birendra Chandra Sen Born at Shillong originally at Baniachong- Sylhet, Bangladesh, s/o Late kailash Chandra Sen, was a college student at the time of his arrest in Alipore Bomb Case. Convicted tom 7 years R.I. Repatriated in 1914 and released in 1915, but kept interned for 4 years. Arresyted in Quit India movement in 1942 and served 10 months imprisonment. |

Laxmi Kant Shukla Born 1930 at Unnao, U.P. s/o Pt. Gopi Krishna Shukla. Joined the H.S.R.A. Sentenced for life in 1930. Sent to Andamns same year. |

Mahavir Singh Born 16th September 1908, Shahpur, Tahala- Etah, U.P.,s/o Kunwar Devi Singh. Was a student D.A.V. College, Kanpur. Joined H.S.R.A. Drove the car by which Bhagat Singhand Rajguru escaped. After gunning down Saunders. Arrested in the summer of 1929. Sentenced to transportation to life. Deported to the Andamans. Participated in the first hunger strike and fell victim to the brutal force feeding process. He died 17th May 1933. |

Ram Singh Born Ajmer, Rajasthan. Aaaarrested in February 1935 and sentenced to 14 years R.I. in each case to run concurrently. Deported to Andamans in 1936. Repatriated in 1937. Released from Lucknow distt. Jail in 1941. Total jail period 6 years. |

Sachindra Nath Sanyal Born 1893 in Varanasi, s/o late Harinath Sanyal, joined Anusheelan Samity 1907. Arrested in 1914 as accused in Benaras Conspiracy Case. Sentenced for life and deported to Andamans. His house was confiscated by the British. Released in 1920. He was a founder member of H.R.A.in 1924.He was arrested on 25.02.1925 in Calcutta in connection with Kakori train Actin and again given a life sentence. In prison, caught T.B. and released in 1937. Again arrested in 1941 but being a T.B. patient was released and interned in Gorakhpur,U.P. He died on 7th February 1942. |

Sardar Gurmukh Singh Born at Nathana, Ludhiyana, Punjab, s/o Kanwal Singh. Returned to India on board the Ship Kamagatamaru and was arrested at Budge Budge in 24 Paraganas, West Bengal in 1914. Given transportation for life and deported to Andamans. After repatriation escaped from running train in 1922. Went to Russia via Afghanisthan. Came back to India and was arrested and was sent to Andamans. Took part in second hunger strike in Cellular Jail. Repatriated in November 1937. released in 1945. Died in the late seventies. |
